ASSISTANT CIVIL ENGINEER
Applicants should have, or be on-track to obtain, a BS degree in civil
engineering. Work duties will include the design of: roads & streets; storm
drainage facilities; water supply & distribution; sewage collection, treatment &
disposal; agricultural irrigation facilities; subdivisions; pumping stations;
shopping centers; commercial projects, etc. Duties will also, on occasion,
include construction observation and surveying. CAD knowledge and work
experience a plus. Wage depending on qualifications. Benefits include health,

version. Work duties include CAD drafting of: topographic maps from electronic
survey data; plan-profiles, title sheets; demolition plans; grading plans;
utility plans; detail sheets; parcel maps; record of surveys; subdivision final
maps; etc. Work duties also include coordination with utility companies and
government agencies regarding locations of existing underground utilities such
as gas, power, telephone, etc. Ability and willingness to learn basic civil
engineering design skills and one or more years of experience a plus. Wage
